While reading a recent issue of Fangoria it occured to me that there are several actors/actresses who appear primarily in the horror genre that I love. Here are five favorites:
– Sid Haig- Most notable as Captain Spaulding/Cutter in 'House of 1000 Corpses' and 'The Devil's Rejects'. Briefly met him and got his autograph.
– Katherine Isabelle- Appeared as Ginger in the 'Ginger Snaps' movies and got killed in 'Freddy vs. Jason'.
– Bill Moseley- Started in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" but shines best as Otis in 'House of 100o Corpses' and 'The Devil's Rejects'
– Angus Scrimm- Though appearing primarily in the 'Phantasm' films, the guy gives me a chill every time I see him.
– Robert Englund- Obviously best known as Freddy Krueger but has appeared in numerous other films. The man is an icon.
