I enjoyed writing my list of favorite movie dads the other day. So, because my dad is STILL awesome, here are three more:
– Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold in the "Vacation" movies- He would be dad of the year if he wasn't constantly screwing things up. Never mind the fact that he never notices that every couple of years his kids look like completely different people.
– Darren McGavin as 'The Old Man' in "A Christmas Story"- The dad of dads. Changing fuses in the dark, sneaking tastes of Christmas Turkey and best of all, buying a Red Ryder BB rifle for his son.
– Albert Finney as Edward Bloom in "Big Fish"- A dying father who relates the tall tales of his youth to his son one last time.
