As I have chronicled extensively in prior blogs I LOVE the Green Lantern. So I was thinking. While it's cool that there are different colored Lanterns that get their powers from different emotions or forces (Green from Willpower, Yellow from Fear, Blue from Hope, Indigo from Compassion, Orange from Avarice, Red from Rage, Sapphire (pink) from Love, Black from Death and White from Life) there are a couple colors left out. So I had some ideas.
Gray Lanterns- Rings are powered by indifference. The more they don't care the more powerful they become. Their oath (every Lantern Corps has one) is "Meh."
The Hot Pink Lanterns- Rings are powered by nostalgia for the 80's. They fight evil using their rings to form giant legwarmers, keyboard guitars and Deloreans.
Brown Lanterns- Rings are powered by laziness. Their rings were other colors once but they never got washed and eventually became brown. Their oath is "In brightest day, in blackest night, some evil might escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, some other night…"
